On behalf of the Student Video Contest Selection Committee, it is our pleasure to announce this year’s winner.

Congratulations goes to Seema Marwaha, Erica Merman and Victoria Leung, from the University of Toronto, for their innovative submission. Their idea? To take simple, teachable moments, such as the importance of hand-washing, capture them in a creative way and distribute them using social media.

The winners will receive:

1. An all-expense paid trip to the Ivey Global Health Conference on November 28^th and 29^th at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel in Toronto, Ontario,
2. Their video shown at the Ivey Global Health Conference in front of an audience of senior industry executives, health system leaders, academics, students, clinicians, government and policy-makers and health innovators from around the world, and
3. The opportunity to hear top-tiered industry leaders such as Mr. John Hammergren, Dr. Dave Williams and Mr. Dennis Purcell speak on how innovation can be supported by policy, implemented in health care delivery and sustained through education and scientific discovery.
